Yes! We try our best to help your family be consistent. However, given sporadic needs, we can’t guarantee that your desired sitter will always be available. You are able to “favorite” your favorite sitters and can directly book them on our app.
If you seek greater consistency and can provide a consistent schedule, we are happy to find you a consistent nanny.

Families are kindly asked not to contact the sitter until 24 hours before the scheduled service. This policy helps ensure fairness, professionalism, and a smooth scheduling process.

Direct communication with the sitter after a service is not permitted. For the safety and consistency of all parties, all future bookings must be arranged through Nittany Nannies. This helps us ensure quality, coverage, and support for both families and sitters.

Please try to submit your requests at least 48 hours in advance to allow time for matching. The earlier the better! Fees may apply for last minute requests

I’m sorry, but due to high demand, our sitters are unable to meet in person before the scheduled shift.
We encourage families to connect with their assigned sitter24 hrs ahead of time through text, phone call, or FaceTime to help everyone feel comfortable. For first-time bookings, we also recommend scheduling the sitter to arrive 15–30 minutes early so you have time to meet, walk through routines, and ask any questions before heading out.

Your sitter will collect your payment at the end of your booking before they leave. Sitters accept electronic payments such as Venmo, Zelle, or Apple Pay and can accept cash. Please, no checks.

Once you complete your online application (https://nittanynannies.enginehire.io/application-form/564/17377?user=1560361), you’ll be able to add dates and times to request a sitter. Once matched, you’ll receive an email with their name, profile, and contact information.

If you need to cancel or adjust your booking, please do so through the Nittany Nannies portal as soon as possible. Last-minute cancellations may affect sitter availability in the future and fees may apply. Let us know if you need assistance with rescheduling!

Yes, we understand how stressful it can be to travel with your family for a wedding or event and not have childcare. We are happy to send your sitter to your Airbnb or hotel. We have a separate out-of-town rate. Stay tuned for tailgate sitter information!
